Qualified surgeons, advanced surgical trainees and military surgeons who are likely to manage severely injured patients and make critical decisions in a time sensitive manner.

Contents

The Definitive Surgical Trauma Care (DSTC) course is developed under the auspices of the International Association for Trauma and Surgical Intensive Care. It addresses the process of surgical decision making and the operative techniques involved in the management of life threatening injuries in the trauma patient.

This intensive 2-day course comprises didactic lectures, case presentations, discussions and hands-on training on animal models. The faculty consists of experienced international and local trauma surgeons.
